Nice rooms, clean, nice size and close to town center.

Maybe consider air conditioning units in the rooms. They were a bit stuffy even with the windows open

The hotel was amazing, great food and great rooms, very cozy and clean. And it is so convenient for getting into Killarney town on foot without having to worry about parking.

We found the staff to be attentive, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was wholesome and enjoyable, and the rooms were very comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring Killarney’s High Street, with its great selection of shops and evening dining options.

Castle lodge is very near the town centre. 5 min walk and it is very safe (sole traveller). Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was very clean and bed was comfy.

I had a wonderfully pleasant stay at Castle Lodge Hotel—it’s truly a hidden gem. Its location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Killarney, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient. The service was faultless throughout my visit. A special mention goes to Rachel at reception, who made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. Her warmth and professionalism set the tone for the entire stay. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great selection, and the staff were always attentive—regularly checking if there was anything more they could offer. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be returning.
